Chalet Etale is just a few minutes’ drive from the Croix Fry ski station, so you’ll be able to make the most of every minute on the slopes. Parking is free, but if you don’t want to take the car, the ski bus stops just 100m from your door. From Croix Fry, your Aravis ski pass covers 220km of slopes and 95 lifts, from La Clusaz to Le Grand Bornand. Cross-country skiers will find plenty of trails on the nearby Beauregard plateau, and non-skiers are not forgotten, with an ice skating rink and cinema in La Clusaz, as well as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and horse-drawn sleigh rides.
