The door opens straight in to the fabulous farmhouse kitchen, with a range-style double oven and a huge pine table, where everybody can get together for a fondue or a raclette and discuss the highlights of the day. In good weather, there’s a large covered terrace with a big dining table, so you can all eat al fresco. After dinner, retire to the cosy living room, with its woodburning stove, to continue the conversation, or the separate TV room - there’s a place for everyone. On a clear night, you’ll love to sit out on the large south-facing balcony and watch for shooting stars, perhaps before heading downstairs for a sauna to ease aching limbs.
